The aim of the Postgraduate Program is to provide theoretical and applied knowledge of spatial issues and their modern management approaches, using the methods and techniques of Geographic Information Science.
Specific objectives of the Postgraduate Program include:
- production of highly qualified scientists and researchers capable of contributing to the design, development and implementation of geoinformatics methods and techniques for solving geographic problems covering the whole spectrum of geography
- promotion of scientific knowledge and research in the field of applied geoinformatics
- compatibility of the postgraduate knowledge provided with the international standards of the relevant sciences, research directions and specializations as well as with the special development needs of a country and the particular spatial problems
- creating scientific staff with modern competitive knowledge in the global labor market
