The International Summer School on Geoparks is a leading training activity for professionals of the International Programme "UNESCO Global Geoparks" and takes place every year in Lesvos.

The 7th International Summer University was created within the framework of the themes of the UNESCO Chair on "Geoparks, Sustainable Regional Development and Healthy Lifestyles" in collaboration with the UNESCO Chair on "Geoparks and the Sustainable Development of Insular and Coastal Areas"
